Bleatboxer is a smooth, strong dark lager that emphasizes the malty-rich and somewhat toasty qualities of fine European malts without a sweet finish. With little-to-no hop flavor or aroma, this bock is all about the malt ... and goats. You see, bock beer was first brewed in the German town of Einbeck and eventually found its way to Munich. Due to their thick Bavarian accents, Munich citizens pronounced Einbeck as “ein BOCK” or “billy goat.” With that in mind, we arrived at Bleatboxer for this warming German bock.
